Advantages..
1.) 5G
No matter which product you choose but if you are not thinking about futuristic than i am sorry man you are gonna regret on your decision because we all that 5th generation is on it's way soon and if you go for 4rth generation phones than it'll be useless after launch of 5g. Think over it act smart.
2.) Oxygen 11.5.2 (operating system)
If your question is what's the main thing which make it different than the answer is no useless pre - installed applications. Yeah they are kind of irritating i know.
3.) Fluid amoled display with 90hertz refresh rate. The combo of both amoled and 90 hertz is rare either you can go for 90 hertz or upgrade it to 120 hertz or 144 hertz but won't get amoled by any smartphone manufacturing company except realme x2 which us with 90 hertz and amoled but not with fluid amoled. You can get 90 hertz and fluid amoled with only under oneplus legacy.
4.) OnePlus security updates for 3 years and 2 years of update.
If you are more like a guy, I don't have any thing to hide. Than trust me you are out of this world. as everyone knows that data is most valuable thing currently present on earth in 2020 after corona virus vaccine yeah that was a joke. But it is true data is most valuable thing currently present on earth in 2020.
Privacy matters.

5.) Premium back look
Having pretty, beautiful phones is everyones dream, phone like of samsung they are with curved backs which make them feel premium. And after all don't you think you deserves to have a phone which makes you feel good everyday when you look at it?.
6.) Light weight
Bulky phone make us feel like we are holding brick or something oneplus nord is of onlu 186 grams which makes it super light. And very little effort is required to use it as your daily driver.
7.) Display size
Yes that's what made me impressed yes display, smartphone companies are making phones like they want us to attach on walls yes that big phone, come man we don't big phones in thae way you guys are manufacturing definately no and if in future we feel like for bigger devices we'll go for tablets and i pads, Now stop this toucher.
8.) Snapdragon 765g processor with 7nm. and 8 cores.
Now this is some innovation for sure, processor is powerful and it beats realme 6 pro, poco x2, samsung m31s, realme x2 by a long shot.
7nm is in processor of oneplus nord if you don't know about nm than listen this
"The lower nm will be the lower battery processor will drain battery".
8 cores are available in one plus nord which buys you more power to do more heavy work on your device.
9.) battery
which is of 4115 mah with 30 watt warp t charger, which charges oneplus nord from 0 to 100 % in 1 hour and 10 minutes.
during in drain tesy of battery it took 7 hours and 56 minutes to completely descharge one plus nord with full brightness
refresh rate was set to 60 hertz
network were on aeroplane mode
only wifi was active for internet uses.
Disadantages
1.) no headphone jack is available in one plus nord
yes thats a bothering thing one plus did
but its some thing we can keep up as because wireless ear buds are available in very less price range now these days.
2.) camera quality
front camera quality is poor it struggles to process captured image for seconds or two, which is disappointing in phones in theses range.
back camera has micro lense which is pretty much useless.
here are some reviews and experiences from one plus nord users.

Style name: 12GB RAM + 256GB StorageColour: Gray OnyxVerified Purchase
Pros:
1) Clean and bloatfree OxygenOS, which runs as smooth as they come.
2) AMOLED screen and 90Hz refresh rate really go along to make the display above average.
3) Battery life is decent and will last a day on normal usage.
4) Sound quality is good and modestly loud. (Drawback in Cons)
5) The design actually fits the hand well as it is shorter than usual on breadth, and a bit more on length, all the more better viewing experience.
6) Gaming performance is average. (Similar phones in this range have better gaming performances)
7) The phone looks and feels premium while using.
8) The alert slider makes it very convenient to switch between different modes.
9) Face Unlock is as fast as other OnePlus phones. (Very very fast)
Cons:
1) The camera is not as good as it was expected. The macro lens is pretty useless, and the main camera lacks depth and the colors aren't as vibrant as OnePlus 8. A bit too much of beautification was there in selfie shots. 4K video recording @ 60fps is absent but 1080@60fps performance is quite good. (The camera is better than most phones out there but it isn't what we were promised)
2) No headphone jack.
3) The mono speaker is on the bottom right of the phone, which tends to get covered by your hand while using. Also, being on just one side of the phone, the audio isn't as well delivered as it is on a stereo speaker.
4) No expandable memory slot.
5) The plastic frame (doesn't look like plastic but it is) is a worrying thing and makes the phone *comparatively* less durable.
6) Fingerprint scanner being under the screen isn't as quick as a traditional fingerprint scanner on the back.
Recommendation: If you're looking for a phone which delivers high performance and smooth interface for your daily use, go for it.
But if your prime purpose is gaming, there are better options available.
Also, if you're expecting flagship camera performance, you might want to consider other phones. (Pixel 4a is about to release, that's far better probably)
Update: Pixel 4a camera is surely much better that Nord's camera.

If u have a good budget i strongly recoment u to buy the oneplus 7t instead of nord because of processor and ufs 3.0 storage .. and the cameras on 7t are more impressive ..

Yeah, enjoy your one update in about 5 years time.
Oneplus nord is most hyped phone of 2020, many are happy with it many are not because lot of issues came in existance of oneplus nord after it's first launch. for an example green tint issue
Users addressed it while using google chrome at low brightness.
If you have oneplus nord and want to find out that your beast phone is suffering from green tint issue open chrome in between 30 to 40 battery %
In low brightness, you may witness green tint issue.
Each and every specifications i mentioned above but now it's time for
Advantages and disadvantages of oneplus nord..
